Asopia Bracelet
€55,00
Bracelet inspired by the nested half-moons evoking the evil eye which decorated “alysos”, the multi-strand necklace that was particularly popular in Attica and Boeotia.
Description
The “Asopia” bracelet is a contemporary take on the principal motif of “alysos”, one of the most impressive neo-Hellenic jewellery pieces worn by the women of Attica and Boeotia, Central Greece.
This unique evil eye composed of two nested half-moons and a star bejeweled with a sapphire perfectly captures AENÁLIA’s universe. This ancient talisman which was equally important in the neo-Hellenic tradition is still used as a charm to avert evil, protect and bring good fortune.
The celestial symbols of the moon and the star acquire magical properties and remind us that we are nothing but stardust.
Handcrafted in Greece.
Each piece is unique, slight variations may occur.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Your AENÁLIA jewellery, whilst delicate, is crafted by hand and destined to live a long life if it is carefully worn and taken care of. To avoid damaging it, it is imperative that you don’t try to adjust or change its shape. You can clean your jewellery by wiping it with a soft cloth. Avoid contact with liquids and body care products as they can harm the plating. Store it away from heat and humidity, preferably in its original box or an airtight jewellery bag.
